Foundation Friends of ‘Droom Je Thuis’ (Stichting Vrienden van Droom Je Thuis)

Welcome on this webpage where you can find a brief explanation (in english) about our Foundation and the goal we are trying to achieve.
The Foundation Friends of ‘Droom Je Thuis’ was established in 2017 to support the Foundation ‘Droom Je Thuis’.
The name ‘Droom Je Thuis’ is derived from the dream 10 families have to establish a sheltered home (thuis) in which their multiple handicapped children will be able to live life ‘as normal as possible’ in the centre of our community. So when we say ‘droom je thuis’, we mean ‘dream your own home’.
The Foundation raises funds for targeted projects. The housing rent and care in this future house will mainly be reimbursed by the (max) 12 residents and legal services. But the intended purpose, a pleasant residential housing facility, will not be fully realized this way. For the decor and cozy dress up of the joint residence areas, a garden decor with adapted features, adapted means of transportation, play area, organised excursions and for example a ‘sensory room’ the Foundation is depending on gifts, donations, legacies and sponsorship and the donors and friends of ‘Droom Je Thuis’.
We are trying to find inspired people who are willing to be a sponsor, contributor or friend to contribute and support our ‘Droom Je Thuis’ House by a financial donation.
